Written and Directed by Michael McGowan, Still Mine follows the true story of Craig Morrison who, against the wishes of the local building authority, builds a house for his ailing wife Irene. McGowan’s film is a meditation on how we love and care for each other when our bodies and lives begin to change. With superb performances by James Cromwell and Geneviève Bujold.
Still Mine is a vulnerable, honest and thoughtful look at the lengths we go to for those we love.
Marguerite Pigott is Film Commissioner and Director of Entertainment Industries for the City of Toronto, responsible for the growth and support of the screen content production, music, interactive digital media and tourism industries in the City of Toronto.
Michael McGowan is a Canadian filmmaker who wrote and directed the feature films Saint Ralph, One Week, Still Mine, and Score: A Hockey Musical.
