Synopsis/Details

Special Presentation : Marguerite Pigott (Film Commissioner and Director of Entertainment Industries, City of Toronto), and story editor of “Still Mine” in conversation with filmmaker Michael McGowan. This event will include excerpts of “Still Mine”.

Written and Directed by Michael McGowan, Still Mine follows the true story of Craig Morrison who, against the wishes of the local building authority, builds a house for his ailing wife Irene. McGowan’s film is a meditation on how we love and care for each other when our bodies and lives begin to change. With superb performances by James Cromwell and Geneviève Bujold.

Still Mine is a vulnerable, honest and thoughtful look at the lengths we go to for those we love.
